Director of Competitive Gymnastics @
The Prado,
Coach Latara
Latara fell in love with gymnastics at the early age of 6 with encouragement from her father to use her energy in the gym! She grew up training competitive Gymnastics in Snellville, Georgia before competing as a Division I Collegiate gymnast at Rutgers University.
She won a State title on beam and vault her senior year of high school before becoming an integral part of Rutger's Gymnastics from 2006-2010. Latara was a four time Regional Qualifier and a National Qualifier her freshmen year. Her sophomore year she set the school record with her balance beam finish!
She came to us at The Peach Pit after coaching for 6 years at Atlanta Gymnastics Center and has been a developmental part of our Competitive Gymnastics program!
Floor Manager @
The Prado,
Morgan Roslund
Morgan is from West Palm Beach, Florida. She has been coaching for over 10 years and ran a recreational gymnastics program for five years. Her favorite events to coach are bars and floor, and her favorite classes to coach are Mommy and Me and Preschool. A recent coaching accomplishment would be that all of Morgan's Mommy and Me classes can do a chin up pullover (spotted) without fear! (This is a huge deal for this age group! They’re going around a bar!) Being a floor manager has taught her to always be on her toes. She loves being able to communicate with the clients, oversee the floor flow with all of the classes we offer, watch coaches be so passionate in what they do, and see the kids smiling faces when they leave class to go home. When Morgan is not in the gym, she enjoys exploring Atlanta and lounging around with her husband and 2 dogs.
